I’m excited for apple season. This time of year, I love that I can get local apples from our grocery stores and Markets. Goldsmith’s, Grandma Lambe’s, The Farmers Pantry, I like to get a few varieties and then cozy up in the kitchen to get these fresh beauties into some baking. One of my fall favourite’s? A warm apple crisp! The smell of cinnamon and baked apples wafting through the house, the first scoop straight from the oven, it really is comfort in a dish.
I’ve been making this recipe for years, and it’s always a hit with friends and family. Today, I’m sharing it with you so you can enjoy a little slice of fall at home. Whether you’re baking for a weekend treat, a gathering, or just for yourself (no judgment here!), it’s simple, delicious, and captures everything I love about this season.
