What an incredible time I had in Calgary for the Royal LePage National Sales Conference and Awards Gala! Calgary is truly a gem—majestic mountain views, vibrant city life, and that crisp, beautiful fall weather that makes you forget about the snow looming around the corner. 🍂
The event kicked off with a bang as we got to hear from none other than our CEO, Phil Soper. Now, I don’t mean to spoil the surprise, but his economic outlook for 2025 was music to our ears—interest rates are expected to drop even further! Who knew real estate could sound this good? 🎶
Next up, Katie Lance wowed us with her insights on the power of AI and social media. It was a great reminder that we’re not just Realtors; we’re basically tech-savvy influencers too! Who knew AI could be our new best friend? (Sorry, Siri, you’ve got competition.) 🤖
One of the most heartwarming parts of the trip was the Shelter Activities. It’s inspiring to see our community come together for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, the largest Canadian charity dedicated to funding women’s shelters and working to end domestic violence. Every dollar counts, and participating in these paid events felt good knowing it was for such an important cause. 💖
The learning didn’t stop there! Dr. Nick Bontis delivered an electrifying seminar, and we all left with more knowledge than we thought possible—brainpower overload! 🧠
And then, there was the epic Shelter Luncheon! Within just one hour, we raised over $220,000 through a live auction. Talk about making a difference—who knew my bidding arm could work so fast? 💪💸
The grand finale was the Awards Gala, a black-tie event that oozed glamour and celebration. I had the honor of being presented with the Top 35 Under 35 in Canada Award by Phil Soper himself. (Yes, I’m still pinching myself!) 🏆
All in all, it was a whirlwind adventure filled with learning, networking, and the sheer joy of connecting with fellow Royal LePagers from across the country. Until next year—Nashville, here we come! 🎸
